Real estate agent careers

For licensed New Jersey agents who want a broker who picks up the phone, and for new licensees who want to be taught rather than left to figure it out.

What we offer

  • Direct broker access. You call Rob and Rob answers. No regional manager, no ticket queue.
  • Local decision-making. Policy, marketing and support decisions are made in this office.
  • Commission-plan transparency. Splits, caps and fees are laid out in writing on the careers site, with an income calculator so you can model your own numbers.
  • Training. Rob is a licensed New Jersey real estate instructor. Training here is actual instruction, not a motivational meeting.
  • Technology. NextHome's platform — CRM, listing marketing, presentation tools, a personal agent website and lead management.
  • Agent development. Business planning, transaction review and coaching for agents who want it.
  • Support for new and experienced agents. Different problems, different support.
  • License-transfer guidance. We will walk you through the process and the timing.
  • Confidential conversations. Always.

How we talk about other brokerages

Respectfully. There are excellent brokerages in Monmouth and Ocean counties, and plenty of agents are well served where they are. Our pitch is what we do, not what someone else supposedly fails to do. If a comparison is useful to you, we will make it factually — plan against plan, service against service.

What we ask

A current New Jersey real estate license or an active path to one. Professional conduct with clients, cooperating agents and this office. Compliance with New Jersey Real Estate Commission rules, fair housing law and NextHome brand standards. And a willingness to say 'I do not know, let me find out' rather than guessing in front of a client.

Questions agents ask us

Is this conversation confidential?

Yes. Rob handles recruiting conversations himself and does not discuss them with anyone, including your current broker. Plenty of agents talk to us and stay where they are; that is a normal outcome.

I am newly licensed. Is that a problem?

No. We work with new licensees and with experienced agents, and the support looks different for each. Rob is a licensed New Jersey real estate instructor, which is relevant if you are early in your career.

What do commission plans look like?

Current plans, splits, caps and fee structures are laid out on the careers site, which also has an income calculator. We do not publish commission rates on consumer-facing marketing pages.

How does transferring a New Jersey license work?

In general terms: your new broker submits a transfer through the New Jersey Real Estate Commission, and your license is reissued under the new brokerage. Timing and specifics depend on your situation and your current brokerage agreement. Verify current procedure with the Commission. There is transfer guidance on the careers site.

What if I am just exploring?

Come to Career Night. It is built for exactly that.
